• Gun/Bow Holder – Universal gun/bow-holder mount transforms the Rambo Bikes Electric Vehicle into a true travel tool for hunters. Made of lightweight yet durable 6061 aluminum alloy, it securely holds any firearm, bow or crossbow for hands-free and safe travel. Requires XL Luggage Rack for installation and proper use.

The next step: Accessorize the bike for hunting. My primary goal was to customize a bike that I could use to carry my bow and, perhaps, a small pack into the woods. (The design I eventually came up with works for rifle hunters, too.)

At the same bike shop I also found a cargo rack that mounted over the rear tire. Next came a homemade bow rack consisting of a piece of aluminum tubing, purchased at a hardware store and a set of bow/gun holders designed to mount on an ATV rack or handlebars. To make the bow rack I attached the piece of aluminum tubing crossways at the farthest rearward portion of the cargo rack, using nuts and bolts, and then mounted the ATV bow/gun holder to that. It worked like a charm, and I was soon making it silently to my stand in a third of the time that it’d have taken me to walk.

This is the CB4. CB4 is a fatbike, a human powered all-terrain vehicle built to take hunters and anglers far into the backcountry quickly and quietly. Its massive 3.8”-wide tires run at very low pressure to provide flotation and amazing traction over rough or soft terrain.

I bought this go-kart for my daughters about a year and a half ago or maybe it was 2-1/2 years ago who knows. It sits in our garage and has barely been used. Its a constant source of headache and I wish I could go back in time and convince myself to NOT buy this go-kart. I HATE when my kids want to use it because just as the case today, I couldn’t get the thing to start. If there was a way I knew to lemon law it,..simply return it for a refund, I would do so. It has so many problems that they never seem to end. It would start OK when we had just purchased the go-kart but you always had to have someone sitting behind the wheel pushing on the accelerator or the engine would die,…no idling with this go-kart without it dying. Also, the right rear tire has never held air long. I think the recommended age for this go-kart is 14+ but it is really designed for about an 8 year old. While the kart has knobby tires indicating it could travel off road, my daughter who was 7 at the time and 42lbs could not drive it off road up a moderate incline in the grass without needing one of us to push. And while the go-kart will pull my 12 year old on pavement, at 5’3″ she can barely fit into the go-kart with the seat all the way back. The turning on the go-kart is very poor, the right front tire is almost bald because the other front tire doesn’t touch the ground and I called the company about these problems and to their credit, even though they told me it was past the 90 day limit they did send me a replacement for the tire that goes flat but they then told me I’d have to find an engine shop and pay to have the tire put on. They also told me to go on their website and follow videos to clean out the carburetor which might help with the engine failing and terrible power. I might be able to change my car’s tire but I am not a mechanic and the company needs to do more than send a piece of junk to me and expect me to fix it. I hate the disappointed look in my kid’s eyes.

Getting to remote stands usually requires entering into the woods well before daylight; getting out requires long walks in the dark. Neither scenario makes for a silent passage. Striking a compromise between a quiet approach and a quick advance can be difficult — which is exactly what a mountain bike can offer.

The frame’s rear tubes maximize heel clearance while wearing boots and carrying cargo. The rear hub spacing and tube design provide clearance for fat tires without the need to ‘dish’ them outboard for tire clearance at the chain. The result is a strong wheel and a durable, efficient drivetrain.

Hunter’s RX family scissor lifts feature best in class drive-on and raise height to reduce clearance issues. Hunter lift racks are built to minimize space while maximizing productivity in any auto shop. Always carry a working tire pump!  Once I got a flat tire, and when I went to repair it, I found a broken pump. I changed tubes to ones containing “slime,” a leak-sealing agent, and installed a liner between the tire and the tube to prevent punctures. I haven’t had a leak since, but I still carry a lightweight pump, a CO2 inflator, and a patch kit.

I have half a year riding my bike throughout trails, I have an ok bike and decided to buy a better bike, since I don’t have the money to buy them expensive bikes I bought this one I rode the bike one time through the trails first gear didn’t work. I got less tired than my other bike although I . But then I fell while on it and the derailler broke and the bike was render useless . Couldn’t get it fix 300 dollars down the drain. To me, never again.

While the Outfitter was intended for hunters, we think it will suit anyone who wants to bring lots of gear into the woods under their own power—with some help from that Bosch eDrive. Several photographers remarked that the set-up is ideal for lugging professional camera equipment in for a shoot, says Felt Sales Manger IanMcCabe. And you can always carry beer. One hundred pounds of beer.

I started thinking it out. The bike would have to get me around on abandoned roads and pack trails. It didn’t have to be fast but it had to be able to roll over rocks and logs. ALSO it had to be usable as a push-type cargo bike. Let me explain. Hunting is a great activity – it’s not a sport, exactly, it’s serious business – but it involves a lot of hard work. Especially after you kill an animal. An elk, even if you shoot it through the heart, can make one last dash, 25, 50, even 100 yards. It will usually head down hill or into brush. You have to crawl in after it and butcher it on the spot, then you have to get it out of the woods. Not much of a problem with deer, but an elk is the size of a horse. A lot of hunters end up carrying the elk out in pieces, on their backs, a quarter or a half mile. Maybe more.

Great purchase!! Researched bikes for months and finally dropped the hammer. The All Terrain R750 is the perfect stealthy hunting machine. Eric is easy to talk too and will http://huntneqip.com you up with the correct bike you need !

Then it stopped abruptly to peer intently at something through the woods, head bobbing up and down as it strained to make sense of the object of curiosity — and I saw that my bike was actually much closer than I had realized, less than 10 yards from the matriarch. The animal finally seemed satisfied that the inanimate object was no threat and resumed feeding on white oak acorns.

The rewards can be great—in our camp that means a fair share of public-lands elk nearly every year. Don’t let the locked gates or trails stop you if you have the will to get in shape, equip a plain-old mountain bike, and get pedaling—your next elk may be just around the corner.

Debuting stateside at this year's Interbike Expo, Jango's Flik folding bike adds a travel-friendly model to Topeak's line of clever multi-activity cycles. After months of enjoyment riding Jango's full suspension bike, we're excited…

Keep in mind that where I hunt in Minnesota it is legal to have your gun uncased and loaded while riding a bike. I have certainly toyed with the idea of having an ATV style rack on the handlebars, but that means I can not travel tight twisty trails and I do like the fact that the upright scabbard allows for quick handling.

The bikes allow us to cover more country faster than walking, plus game retrieval is many times a downhill cruise. That first year, we were the only hunters riding bikes opening weekend. Since then, we’ve seen many others use bikes in our area, but few stay the course every day of the season.
